All of our beverages are mixed, hand-packed, and labeled in Bozeman, Montana. Our one-of-a-kind pouches were designed by founder Morgan Robinson, and our ingredients are carefully sourced from trusted suppliers selected for their quality and reliability.

It’s simple:

1. Pull off tab on cap, then turn to break caps seal before adding water
2. Reseal cap, then tear off the top to open the pouch
3. Add room temperature water to cover powder through opening
4. zip shut and shake till dissolved
5. Carefully fill with hot (not boiling) water to the fill line
6. Let rest until comfortable to hold, zip shut and drink from spout*

*check temperature before sipping.

Any hot water source works to enjoy your hot beverage, including:

• Camp stove or Jetboil
• Cabin or backcountry kettle
• Electric kettle or hot water tap
• Thermos or insulated bottle with hot water
• Hotel or lodge hot water sources

No. Shortcut uses instantized ingredients that mix quickly with water. There is no steeping time, filters or brewing equipment required.

Yes. Shortcut is designed for hot use, however the blends can also be mixed with cold water when hot water isn’t available. Stir or shake longer for best results.

We will be starting out with a Hot Carob blend but plan to expand our selection to more caffeine and caffeine-free blends in the future

Yes. Our pouches are made from food-safe, heat-rated materials specifically designed to hold hot liquids. They are BPA-free and intended to be sipped from directly. Please use caution while handling, as the pouch and contents may become hot.

Simple answer. No.

Regular instant coffee still requires a mug, creamers, sugar and cleanup. Shortcut is a complete, pre-blended drink in a heat-safe pouch. You just add hot water and sip:

Yes. All current blends are plant-based and dairy-free.

Yes. Shortcut blends are made without animal products. Always check the ingredient list for the most current formulation.

Our blends contain coconut (a tree nut) due to the coconut milk ingredients. Please review allergen information if you have sensitivities.

Calories and macros vary by blend. Full nutrition facts are listed on each product page and on the pouch itself.

Shortcut beverages have a recommended shelf life of 12 months due to their dehydrated ingredients and moisture-resistant packaging. For best quality, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refer to the date printed on each pouch for specific shelf-life information.
